SEX OFFENDERS
The Wisconsin Department of Corrections has created a website that allows you to search for sex offenders living in your area.
- Enter http://offender.doc.state.wi.us/public/ as the web address.
- Click on the "Search Registry" button.
- Click on the "search by location" link.
- Enter Mt. Horeb's zip code of "53572".
- Read through the Sexual Offender Registry Appropriate Use Notice. At the bottom, click on the button "yes" agreeing that you understand the information you have just read.
- You will be provided with a list of any sex offenders in your zip code.

Sex offenders must keep the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry informed of the following:
- Change of name
- Change of residence
- Change in employment
- Volunteering
- Education
- Website creation/management
- Email, instant messaging usage
- Jail confinement and release
- Change in parole or probation
