The ideal candidate would have a diverse background with leadership and law enforcement experience. 

Applications are now being accepted for the position of full-time Police Officer for the Village of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. We currently have one opening for this position. Full-Time Starting wage is $34.85 an hour ($38.14 after probation). Excellent benefits, health, dental, and life insurance. Successful applicants must have a Two-Year Associate Degree or 60 college credits from a Wisconsin Vocational Education or Technical District or its accredited equivalent from another state. Applicants must be in good physical condition, have good moral character, and no felony or domestic violence convictions. U.S. Citizen and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license are also required. Certified or certifiable with Wisconsin Law Enforcement Board is preferred. Lateral Transfer opportunities up to the 7-year level ($40.24) are available for qualifying candidates.
